CCing to pkg-javascript-devel. There is the /usr/bin/js alternative provided by spidermonkey-bin, nodejs. But i am not so sure it is useful as a "usual interpreter" now, because all scripts doing something with i/o must use smjs or node, so they wouldn't have /usr/bin/js in their shebang.
