Help me to answer Reinhard question : is oss4 available on kFreeBSD ? Thus could the oss4 output plugin be enabled for this arch too ? The oss4-dev package is available for all arch. But the include file it provides is: /usr/include/linux/soundcard.h. This sounds Linux specific. Anyway I see no problem to enable it for Debian GNU/Linux i386 and amd64.
