Description: Python 2.3.x module for automating HTTP cookie management
ClientCookie is a pure Python module for automatic HTTP cookie management.
.
This package is built for Python 2.3.x
Tag: devel::library, langdevel::python, made-of::lang:python,
protocol::http, role::content:data
There is, for more than a year, a 1.0.3 on the upstream site
(http://wwwsearch.sourceforge.net/ClientCookie/) and interesting
programs like mechanize (http://wwwsearch.sourceforge.net/mechanize/)
require it.
1.0.3 is already in testing. The package was uploaded to unstable on
June 28th. Can you recheck if you've by chance put the package on hold?
Please file a bug if mechanize is still breaking with the testing
version of python2.3-clientcookie and I'll take look.
One more question, since you're a user of this package. I did not
package a python2.4 version since python2.4 provides cookielib. If you
still see a need for clientcookie for 2.4, I'll consider packaging it.
