Package: unbound Version: 1.4.12-1 Severity: normal Hi,
RESOLVCONF_FORWARDERS=false does not work as the DNS server from /etc/resolv.conf is configured as forwarder regardlessly of RESOLVCONF_FORWARDERS being flase. % /etc/init.d/unbound start % unbound-control forward 10.0.0.138 % dig www.heise.de ;www.heise.de. IN A % /etc/init.d/unbound restart % unbound-control forward off % dig www.heise.de www.heise.de. 3593 IN A 193.99.144.85 And because DNSSEC is activated the whole DNS system does not work as long as the router is used as forwarder. ps.: it seems that /etc/resolvconf/update.d/unbound is just adding all nameserver ips as forwarders to unbound and ignoring the RESOLVCONF_FORWARDERS setting from /etc/default/unbound. greets, Michael Gebetsroither -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.36-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages unbound depends on: ii adduser 3.111 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.11.2-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libev4 1:4.04-1 high-performance event loop librar ii libexpat1 2.0.1-7 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libgcc1 1:4.4.4-9 GCC support library ii libldns1 1.6.10-2 ldns library for DNS programming ii libpython2.6 2.6.6-8+b1 Shared Python runtime library (ver ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.0d-2 SSL shared libraries ii libunbound2 1.4.10-1 library implementing DNS resolutio ii openssl 0.9.8o-4 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a unbound recommends no packages. unbound suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
