This version includes as standard fixes for the CVE-2011-1755 (billion laughs DOS attack) and implicit-pointer-conversion bugs, currently patched in 2.2.8 in debian/patches/. It also includes a variety of other bugfixes and improvements since 2.2.8. These include security, stability and memory leak bugfixes.
