I think it can be created, it just needs to be explicitely done. There
(used to be?) a debian bug about this. But yes, a nicer manual would be
good to have.

I see. Without "holdconnectionopen" (terrible naming!) we basically
shouldn't keep connections idle for that long so that they expire. And
when they do, we should detect dropped connections. I'll see what I can
do about it.

That stuff is from the stone-age, I have no clue why they chose such
inconsistent wording there either :-(.
