Ok, I fail to see why it dies, but it dies indeed. Could you do the same thing (sh -x) to /etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc again provide .xsession-errors. You have some errors in the log about renice but I'm not sure it'd lead to the session dying. It'd help if you could investigate on your side, reading your log one at a time is a bit under-optimal.
