Have you really compared the .min.js in Debian with .min.js in Ubuntu?
They are different and this bug only happens in Ubuntu version.

Ubuntu: name:bs.name,value:bt.replace(bq,"^M @@@@@...
Debian: name:bs.name,value:bv.replace(bq,"\r\n")}})

yui-compressor seems broken to me, but I tested both versions (Ubuntu
and Debian) and there is no difference, they generate the same minified
files.

So, the jquery.min.js in Ubuntu package is broken. To fix it in Ubuntu
package is necessary minify again the jQuery lib and upload the new
package version.
