I am thinking of some config-vars in /etckeeper.conf

REMOTE_REPO_HOST
REMOTE_REPO_USER

REMOTE_BRANCH_NAME
LOCAL_BRANCH_NAME

when set, a post_commit-hook could do a PUSH to the bare-repo
REMOTE_REPO_HOST.

I've seen several similar request, I guess there are some more
people who do this by reconfiguring etckeeper.

We would appreciate such a feature.
If you're interested, I can send you our relevant modifications.

with best regards
