I'm able to cut and paste commands into gnome-terminal window and the
commands run correctly. I'm also able to open the right click menus.
However any keystroke hangs gnome-terminal burning 100% cpu.

Started a new gnome-terminal, attached gdb, and set a break point on
  gdk_keymap_get_entries_for_keyval
then typed into terminal, first break on that method never returns.

I've also downgraded to 2.30.2-1 as a work around.
