When changing the volume, a sound should be played to give you a preview of
what the volume now is. AFAIK this works by playing /usr/share/sounds/{theme
....}/audio-volume-change.wav.
the moblin sound theme for example provides this file, but even when that sound
theme is selected no preview is played when the volume is changed
