With all due respect, I must say the result --rotateoversize is
generally unexpected and too annoying to be passed by default.

I had never even heard of pdfjam before tonight, when I needed to merge some
PDF documents I had just scanned, only to be surprised by half of them
being horizontally tilted. The first place I came to look after the
script itself was the BTS, because it seemed obvious to me that it was a
bug of some sort.

I'm quite convinced this is a major setback on usability, but then again, I'm
not at all familiar with the software and the majority of the user base
might have different needs and a good reason to want this. I just
thought I would endorse the submitter, because it also did not make much
sense to me instinctively.

Just my two cents.

Regards,
