Package: opensc
Version: 0.12.1-1.1
Severity: important

/etc/opensc/opensc.conf states:

        # PKCS#15 initialization / personalization
        # profiles directory for pkcs15-init.
        # Default: /usr/share/opensc
        #
        # profile_dir = /usr/share/opensc;

But the /usr/share/opensc directory nor its content is present.
This results in:

winfried@tinie:/etc/opensc$ pkcs15-init -E -v
Using reader with a card: OpenCT 00 00
Connecting to card in reader OpenCT 00 00...
Using card driver entersafe.
Couldn't bind to the card: File not found

strace shows it traps on opening /usr/share/opensc/pkcs15.profile

open("/usr/share/opensc/pkcs15.profile", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or
directory)

thanks,

Winfried
