In Debian the notion of "replacing" is a bit more strict than that.
Replacing implies providing the same interface, but as far as I
understand gio2 and gtk2 provide similar functionality as gnomevfs,
glade and gconf with a different interface. Saying the former replace
the latter would be a little confusing.
