OK. Could you try something for me ?
(I have troubles to reproduce the issue)

Could you try to create a file called /etc/java-6-sun/security/nss.cfg
with:
---
name = NSS
nssLibraryDirectory = /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/
nssDbMode = noDb
attributes = compatibility
---

inside.
and let me know if it fixes the issue.
