Probably /etc/passwd and /etc/group got out of sync. Do you have a messagebus user but no corresponding group? What does grep messagebus /etc/passwd /etc/group say? Michael -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
