Package: rxvt-unicode Version: 9.11-2 Severity: wishlist
mrxvt has a very useful option: -blc cmd It allows you to pass a command to a program to run whenever you would have a bell sound. It's particularly useful when ssh'ing to a remote host and running irssi in a screen session. It allows you to be notified locally when a bell event happens (when someone sends you a private msg for example). The visual bell option is not useful in this situation since you can't see it when you are on a different desktop. And the audible bell is just annoying to everyone within ear shot.
