Could you send me the output of netstat -xl. On Linux the sockets are abstract, thus there is no problem if /run/hald doesn't exist. I assume this is not the case on kfreebsd. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
