Present behaviour of xpdf when I open a file is:- xpdf opens with a window size approximating the paper size of the document. I maximise the xpdf window, and the (viewable) area larger than paper size is greyed out. The problem:- I zoom the document using the + key, and the viewable area within the xpdf window does not get enlarged. This causes the user to scroll the(zoomed) document sideways to read the text. If xpdf had used the entire screen area to display the document, entire text could displayed on the screen.
