Subject: ttf-freefont: Strange glyphs for some chars in Control Pictures block Package: ttf-freefont Version: 20100919-1 Severity: normal
In the FreeMono, FreeSans, and FreeSerif fonts, the glyphs for the following characters are strange: U+2404 SYMBOL FOR END OF TRANSMISSION: shows as "ENQ", should be "EOT" U+2405 SYMBOL FOR ENQUIRY: shows as "EOT", should be "ENQ" (The above two seem to be transposed.) U+240E SYMBOL FOR SHIFT OUT: shows as "SS", should arguably be "SO" (This one isn't as clear, but I'm going by the abbrevs from ascii(7).) ---> Drake Wilson -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
