timbl uses an old litmain.sh which filters out the openmp flag -fopenmp from the linking procedure. So the library is missing a DT_NEEDED endry for libgomp. This leads to build failure in programs using libtimbl, like timblserver. See e.g. this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/timblserver/+bug/803205 This libtool bug has been fixed but timbl still uses a buggy version.
