Package: ksnapshot Version: 4:4.6.3-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I'm not a KDE user, but use ksnapshot for screen capture, as it has been the nicest screenshot application around. However, for releases after 4.4.5, the area capture isn't working very well. What happens is a screen grab is done, and then never relinquished. I have to kill the X server (with Ctrl-Alt-backspace) to get unstuck. For now, I am using an old version 4.4.5. For the record, I use the Compiz window manager. cheers, Simon -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_NZ.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages ksnapshot depends on: ii kdebase-runtime 4:4.6.3-1 runtime components from the offici ii libc6 2.13-4 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libkdecore5 4:4.6.3-2 KDE Platform Core Library ii libkdeui5 4:4.6.3-2 KDE Platform User Interface Librar ii libkio5 4:4.6.3-2 Network-enabled File Management Li ii libkipi8 4:4.6.3-1 library for apps that want to use ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.7.3-1 Qt 4 D-Bus module ii libqtcore4 4:4.7.3-1 Qt 4 core module ii libqtgui4 4:4.7.3-1 Qt 4 GUI module ii libstdc++6 4.6.0-10 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.4.3-1 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.3.0-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfixes3 1:5.0-2 X11 miscellaneous 'fixes' extensio ksnapshot recommends no packages. ksnapshot suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
