Package: bash-completion Version: 1:1.2-3 Severity: normal
I am restoring a Postgres database in the following way: $ psql -U dbuser -d dbname < dbname.db However, tab completion does not work for completing the database dump name. I tried "./<TAB>" and that didn't work either (it should be obvious that I'm trying to look for a file in the current directory). What's especially surprising is that this functionality works just fine without bash-completion installed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages bash-completion depends on: ii bash 4.1-3 The GNU Bourne Again SHell bash-completion recommends no packages. bash-completion suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
