This has changed a lot recently; in particular, Debian package install
Python libraries usually to other locations than ‘/usr/lib/’.

It's also long been the case that there are several Python packaging
helpers in common use, and so different packages will exhibit different
installation behaviour depending on which helper was used to package them.

Can you please confirm that this is still a problem with current Python
packages in Debian? If so, can you please determine whether it's only one
of the helpers (e.g. only ‘dh_pycentral’, or only ‘dh_python2’, or only
‘dh_pysupport’), or some combination.
