Builds of ball have been failing on several architectures because the build system tries to make the tutorial without necessarily having the relevant build dependencies available. Please either arrange to skip it when building only architecture-dependent packages or reinstate texlive-latex-recommended to Build-Depends. (Please note that checking for the presence of pdflatex is insufficient; the ia64 buildd happened to have it but not texlive-latex-recommended, and so tried to run pdflatex but ultimately failed due to lacking a4.sty.)
