The config cannot actually be the same, since each kernel version has
different config variables.

Does it work if you set CONFIG_DRM_RADEON=m, or build the appropriate
firmware into the kernel?

Does it work if you set CONFIG_AGP=y and CONFIG_AGP_AMD64=y?
