In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

In oneiric linux/videodev.h is not longer available so it needed to be replaced 
with libv4l1-videodev.h

  * Fix build failer on oneiric (LP:749164).  Use libv4l1-videodev.h instead of 
old linux/videodev.h
