I found this page http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ath9k_htc which contained a link this (http://wireless.kernel.org/download/htc_fw/1.3/ ) download location which includes the 1.3 version. I downloaded the htc_7071.fw file and placed it in /lib/firmware directory.
