Package: sudo-ldap
Version: 1.7.4p4-2.squeeze.2
Severity: important

When upgrading from lenny to squeeze sudo-ldap lost the ability to dereference
ldap aliases. In ldap.conf DEREF ist set to "always".

sudo-ldap works if i give a search base which doesn't require derefererencing.

As last try i downgraded sudo-ldap by adding lenny archive to sources.list and:
apt-get install sudo-ldap=1.6.9p17-3

It works - with a search base which has to be dereferenced like before.

Fyi, "DEREF always" did not work in sudo-ldap/etch, it worked in
sudo-ldap/lenny and now it's gone away again. :(

Regards,
Matthias
