I probably should have given more detail about the program I was using which invoked the mime handling and triggered the problem with spaces (bug #562959). It might have been mc (Midnight Commander), pressing enter on a image file, but I'm not entirely certain. I tried just now downgrading to imagemagick/7:6.5.8.3-1 and displaying via run-mailcap "test with spaces.jpeg" or run-mailcap test\ with\ spaces.jpg but I can't seem to reproduce the problem at the moment, I'm sorry. By that test, image/jpeg; display 'jpeg:%s' seems to be working now. Maybe it's best now to apply the new patch for bug #619667, and I'll reopen #562959 if I find the problem again, giving more detail to reproduce the bug?
