Package: sssd
Version: 1.2.1-4+squeeze1
Severity: important

I performed the upgrade: sssd 1.2.1-4+squeeze1 -> 1.2.1-4.2

sssd failed to start.

Attempted:
 # /etc/init.d/sssd restart
This gave no output.

I then tried starting sssd interactively:
 # sssd -d -f
This produced the following lines in the log file (/var/log/sssd/sssd.log):

(Fri Jun 17 21:50:48 2011) [sssd] [check_file] (1): lstat for
[/var/run/nscd/socket] failed: [2][No such file or directory].
