Package: coreutils
Version: 8.5-1
Severity: minor

When creating many directories with
  mkdir -m 700 -p /tmp/test1/test2/test3
only the last directory (test3) gets the mode 700
test1 and test2 get the mode according to the umask

Cheers,
  Christoph
