Package: loop-aes-utils Version: 2.16.2-2 Followup-For: Bug #384059 The version of mount installed by loop-aes-utils (2.16.2) lags behind current version in package mount (2.17.2). In 2.16.2, the command line switch --no-canonicalize is not recognized. This switch is used by the recently upgraded ntfs-3g, which renders ntfs unmountable. I had to uninstall loop-aes-utils. Not sure many people want to have loop-aes and ntfs at the same time: I had installed loop-aes long ago to do some testing, but almost never used it. So it was not hard for me to remove that package. On the other hand, since the switch is mentionned in the man page, any other mount.something program might use it. I fall in the "novice" category (with respect to debian), so I am sorry I cannot propose a patch. Debian's packaging system is a big chunk to swallow! Thanks to all the developper, it is a great system.
