Apparently the problem was solved by re-plugging the scanner. The scanner is then reported differently by sane-find-scanner: found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [Hewlett-Packard], product=0x1205 [hp scanjet scanner], chip=HP4500C/4570C/5500C/5550C/5590/7650) at libusb:002:006 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
