Package: freedroidrpg Version: 0.14.1-1 Severity: important
I've just upgraded freedroidrpg to version 0.14.1-1 from 0.10.something (I forget which). Immediately after upgrading, freedroidrpg refused to start, complaining in its console output about various missing font files, then terminating early. With some hunting around I discovered the font files had never been installed, as a consequence of my freedroidrpg-data package never having been upgraded. On closer inspection it seems that the dependency for the freedroidrpg package doesn't specify a version number, so Debian happily decided that my old version of freedroidrpg-data was adequate when it really wasn't. Therefore I think the freedroidrpg package needs a small dependency update so that it includes a version number as part of the freedroidrpg-data dependency. I've flagged this as important because I guess it may affect anyone who upgrades (which seems to match the description for important) -- I hope I got that correct. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_NZ, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages freedroidrpg depends on: ii freedroidrpg-data 0.14.1-1 Data files for freedroidrpg ii libc6 2.11.2-8 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1 7.7.1-4 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libjpeg62 6b1-1 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libogg0 1.1.3-4 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libpng12-0 1.2.15~beta5-3 PNG library - runtime ii libsdl-image1.2 1.2.10-2+b2 image loading library for Simple D ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.8-6.3 mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.14-6.4 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libvorbis0a 1.2.0.dfsg-3.1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-8 compression library - runtime freedroidrpg recommends no packages. freedroidrpg suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
