Then please, check if the bug exists in a Debian pure system (there are not
packages of 'trinity' in the Debian archive). That is: only Debian unstable
or at the very least, Debian testing up-to-date.

Hmm.
1. Have you tried to reproduce the problem?
2.pearsoncomputing.net (the source of the Trinity/Kde3.5 packages) is totally
flooded,
which means many of your users are using it.
Fortunately there's a mirror at http://www.jabber.funzt-halt.net/ .
I'd much rather stick with a desktop with all the functionality I need
rather than
be swept along on a failed promise that is KDE 4.
Incidentally, the "displays incorrect information" part of this report can be
checked by
sed -i -e 's/main/mainX/g' -e 's/mainXX/main/g' sudoku-solver.cpp
- it swaps the main function name with mainX, above it.
You'll need to supply it a directory containing one or more "puzzle" scripts.
You can get them from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/v3c-storyboard/
under the html5/sudoku/puzzles/eh/md directory inside the archive.
If you then place a breakpoint after any of the "Row a1;" lines you can see
that the row
numbers appear to be filled with garbage but that kdbg is mis-informing you by
walking the
code.
