Thanks. > Tell me if I forget a file. After moving around files a little, I get $ sh command-line.txt ld.bfd: cannot find /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.6.1/../../../../lib/crti.o: No such file or directory ld.bfd: cannot find /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.6.1/crtbeginS.o: No such file or directory ld.bfd: cannot find -lgcc so I suppose those are missing. I copied in some files from a gcc 4.4 i386 installation and it complained about a few more in the same vein. Until: $ sh command-line.txt $ echo $? 0 This happens with binutils 2.21.51.20110523-1 (from sid) or 2.21.51.20110601-1 (from experimental).
