I recently had chance to fix rendering bugs which have real impacts to the use of this debiandoc-sgml (#593916, #594846, #238003). I am cleaning BTS data for further improvements. So far, last 6 years, all patches or improvements have been done mostly by me. When I get a useful patches such as #443765, I included them. My updates include major changes to support UTF-8. Based on this situation, I do not consider Ardo as upstream any more. I am practical upstream and maintainer. No one came up last 8 years with patch on this Bug #218529, either. I consider bug reports on the bad command syntax design problems (Bug #218529 and #430572) are feature requests. No documetation said you can use is the way requested and No programs were broken by these. I agree these are non-optimal implementation. Unlike other wishlist bugs which I marked as wontfix, I think if anyone provide accountable patch with good testing, I will consider to include such patch. But this is not normal bug but an enhancement request. Please do not change severity without discussing it with me.
