Hello, I think I'm also hit by this bug. I've the command "/srv/*/tomcat/tomcat" in my sudoers and randomly some users complain, they can't execute the command while others can.
For me it would be nice if this patch could go to the lenny (oldstable) sudo package. -- greetings eMHa
