Here is the step for reproducing the bug :
- Create an iSCSI target (I tried OpenFiler and Open-E DSS)
- Attach and mount the target
- Uses a debootstrap squeeze on the target
- Install kernel, header, open-iscsi and grub
- Add "ISCSI_AUTO=true" to /etc/iscsi/iscsi.initramfs
- Update initramfs
- Try to boot

I have the same problem with DHCP + iPXE and Intel iSCSI remote. I noticed that the network can't be configured if I don't create a DHCP server (even with a static ip from Intel iSCSI remote boot).
