Package: tao-idl Version: 6.0.1-2 Severity: normal tao_idl --help says that: -ae Error if anonymous type is seen (default is silent) -aw Warning if anonymous type is seen (default is silent) -as Silences the anonymous type diagnostic (default)
However when I tried to use tao_idl, it really behaves like default diagnostic would be Error. IMHO default should be silent just like help claims, or at most warning, but not error. Of course I can workaround the issue by giving -as parameter to tao_idl invocation, but I believe that it should be default for the sake of backward compatibility. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
