You are too quick. It says you need to build 3.3 without patch optional-outplace-ole.diff.
This has just been built in ppa:libreoffice/ppa and I confirm that it solves this bug. It also says 3.4 does not show this bug, even though the patch seems to be integrated into mainline. Disabling the patch also disables out-of-place editing for embedded objects. I guess this is a small price to pay for now. Also the out-of-place editing has never been implemented in the windows version of OO or LO. SO we wouldn't be reducing the functionality of LO compared to the 3.3.2 windows version. -- Ferry Toth <ft...@telfort.nl> Rene Engelhard schreef op zo 29-05-2011 om 23:47 [+0200]: > tag 617319 + fixed-upstream > tag 617319 + upstream > forwarded 617319 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36443 > thanks > > On Sun, May 29, 2011 at 06:05:35PM +0200, Ferry Toth wrote: > > You may want to check out freedesktop.org #36443. > > Which says nothing in addition here, Björns Ubuntu packages are based on ours > and there (even with the exact same LibO version) it was not reproducible > either, > > Then again, it seems that 3.4 will fix this thankfully...
