Package: lintian
Please add some support to scan build logs for a build, like
lintian <changes file> <build log>
There do exist some build log scanners for failed builds, like the one from
Lucas Nussbaum used for the grid5000 test rebuilds, but there are also some
issues which can be catched by looking at a successful build log:
- turn some warnings into errors (like done for ia64 buildds for
pointer/int size mismatches)
- See if dpkg-buildflags are honored by the package
- see if verbose build logs are turned on, or not
Such a check could be run after a successful build on the buildds.
