severity 623113 wishlist quit I decided to "handle" it another way. Starting with 2.1.0, Cupt does not share index cache files with APT anymore and hence does not need to follow its internal layout changes.
This effectively turns this bug into wishlist one. Consequently, API break is postponed for "better times". -- Eugene V.
