The sarge version is *not* working: there are helper scripts in /usr/share/doc/fakechroot/examples and a patch for debootstrap in the readme... but the "debootstrap --fakechroot" mentioned isn't actually part of the debootstrap in sarge (ie. you'd have to apply the patch to a local copy or something.) I do like the idea of using the --variant support for this, since the fakechroot package could supply the alternate "sarge.fakechroot" scripts; chroot seems to be the only thing preventing the use of pdebuild by entirely unprivileged users, which is the reason fakechroot interests me... -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
