Hi Eduard, I'm so sure this bug's encfs fault because I juste opened à file manager (I run XFCE4 as a WM) and it returns me that my own home isn't broweable, but home/user1/Desktop subdirectory is.
The error msg popup is: Failed to open directory "user1". Error stating file '/home/user1/.gvfs': Transport endpoint is not connected. So I guess the 1st use of the fuse module just after boot+login is related to this ~/.gvfs directory and may be unrelated to encfs; but I don't know which package it is related to.
