Package: fuse-utils
Version: 2.8.4-1.3
Severity: important

Since last update (fuse-utils 2.8.4-2 -> 2.8.5-2), there was a serious problem
of permissions on ~/.gvfs, which makes thunar almost unusable.

More precisely, if I opened my home with thunar, I see the following error
(sorry Italian):
"Errore nell'eseguire lo stat del file "/home/domenico/.gvfs": Il socket di
destinazione non รจ connesso."
and in thunar I did not see any files and any folders.

Almost the same error with pcmanfm, no error with nautilus, with which all
seemed to work.

I noticed that every time the following permissions set on .gvfs folder:
d?????????  ? ?        ?              ?            ? .gvfs
(sic!!!!)

Now I have downgraded all the packages in question to the version of wheezy and
everything is back to work.
These are the folder permissions:
$ ls -al
dr-x------  2 myname myname       0 28 mag 16.18 .gvfs

However, in my other pc with Squeeze, are as follows:
$ ls -al
drwx------  2 myname myname    4096 30 ott  2010 .gvfs

Thank you for your attention!
Domenico Cufalo
