Package: libdcmtk2-dev Version: 3.6.0-5 Severity: normal Hi,
with dcmtk 3.6 the macro OFFIS_DCMTK_VERSION_NUMBER is no longer a number. It used to be one (dcmtk 3.5) and it was possible to do versions checks with it, e.g. #if OFFIS_DCMTK_VERSION_NUMBER > 352 Now it is a string and that results in e.g.: fileio_dicom.cpp:68:5: error: token ""360"" is not valid in preprocessor expressions I assume this was an unintentional change, given the presence of both DCMTK_PACKAGE_VERSION _and_ DCMTK_PACKAGE_VERSION_NUMBER, where the latter clearly want to be a number and not a string.
