Thanks for this information. Under Debian, the glabels package depends on the glabels-data package which has these files and it is not permitted to install glabels without the data files. Bert, please check glabels-data is correctly installed (re-install it, or install and run debsums for example). The information I requested might help if this is not an installation problem.
