Package: runit Version: 2.1.1-6.2 Severity: minor Tags: patch Hi,
Since runit 0.7.2, if I understand correctly then "sv exit" does not send SIGTERM to the log service but just closes the latter's standard input. You can see an example of the difference with the current version (1:1.7.5.1-1) of the git-daemon-run package (bug#627314): # sv stat /etc/sv/git-daemon/log run: /etc/sv/git-daemon/log: (pid 3462) 23s $ nc localhost git; # opening a connection in another terminal # sv exit /etc/sv/git-daemon/log # sv stat /etc/sv/git-daemon/log run: /etc/sv/git-daemon/log: (pid 3462) 96s, want down # sv down /etc/sv/git-daemon/log # sv stat /etc/sv/git-daemon/log fail: /etc/sv/git-daemon/log: runsv not running Anyway, how about this patch?
